Google Holiday Card 2007

goog4.jpg by: Mark

So, this is the first year I've spent enough as an advertiser to get added to Google's holiday card list. I've heard of cool presents in the past, so I wasn't sure what to expect when this was left at my desk.

The USB memory card is cool, but suspect. The connector looks scary enough not to use it for anything beyond about 15 minutes of bragging rights.

The $200 is great. They can put a bunch of money into charity, raise awareness about a charitable organization, and get a decent tax writeoff. I'm sure there is a bunch of clever accountants behind it, but I'd rather they be hard at work figuring out how to be robin hood, than say, how to make eleventy billion dollars more on oil.

I digress.

If you're still curious what Google sends out in a holiday card:

Site Re-Design (version .. 10?)

OK, So, I've had plenty of site redesigns, and for the last few years I have never either fully developed, or fully finished a redesign.

On a bit of prompting from Sarah, and also because I don't want to be that guy(1), I'm determined to finish this one.

Stay Tuned...
