This is my friend Katie, whom I’ve known & worked with for .. a couple years. I’ve always admired the ‘pin-ups’ of the 40s and 50s, and love emulating that look whenever I can.

Digital
I’m rather a fan of days like today.. The air is thick with moisture, the light so gloomy things are almost black and white to begin with. It was a good day to go out and shoot, but I decided that rather than fuss with film I would take the digi out. I’ve had a mental block that made me think my digital camera was for work, film is for art, and there shouldn’t be any mixing of the two.
Due to my recent setbacks I decided I should maybe re-think my emphasis on film, so today I am starting a new emphasis on shooting more digital, making some prints, and doing a fair re-evaluation of my love of film.
